The Dave Heine team includes Carson Smith, Robyn Albus, Brad Borden, and Dave Heine. Dave Heine joined Don Peterson as a partner in WESTERN BROKERS, LLP in 1997. Together, they have emphasized the importance of teamwork within the company. The various agents have diverse backgrounds which gives the company the ability to assist clients with their differing real estate goals.

Dave has spent many years working in agricultural pursuits and enjoys outdoor hobbies including hunting and fishing. Some of the agents also have hunting and fishing in their background. Some have worked in the construction industry. Don is well versed in the timber industry and in subdivision development. One agent is in the process of producing hunting and fishing videos to air on television. Another agent is an engineer at an engineering firm.

WESTERN BROKERS, LLP has real estate agents who are also residential real estate appraisers with their own appraisal entities. Dave is an Accredited Rural Appraiser with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He specializes in rural appraisal issues with an emphasis on farms, ranches, timberland and conservation easements. Through his appraisal assignments he has developed many relationships throughout Montana and in the entire intermountain west. This network of appraisers, lenders, ranchers, farmers, outdoorsman and others with real estate interests is a valuable asset to all of his clients.

Dave has lived in Montana for more than 40 years hunting, fishing, farming, ranching, appraising and brokering real estate. This experience and knowledge of Montana is a valuable asset he uses to benefit his clients. He feels there is no better way to spend your day than looking at property outside of town whether it is in western or eastern Montana, whether it is ranchland or timberland, whether it has easy or difficult access. He enjoys it all.

Dave grew up in western Montana, and graduated from Flathead High School. He earned his Bachelor Degree from Montana State University and his Master’s Degree from Washington State University. His Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees are both in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in farm management. He continues to develop his real estate and appraisal businesses to meet the needs of the current real estate buyers and sellers helping them make wise investments and sales in order to meet their real estate goals.

Dave lives on a 200 acre irrigated farm just north of Flathead Lake with his wife, Sandi, and their four kids. They are involved in raising various crops, bird dogs, and game birds. When he isn’t “at the office” Dave is trying to out-fish or out-shoot the kids or he may be found outside working with a bird dog or on the latest “project”.
